Welcome to My New Website ✨

I'm so excited for this brand refresh because my business finally feels aligned with my

purpose.

I started Dunks Design almost 10 years ago because I craved freedom — freedom from a 9–5, from someone else calling the shots, freedom to work on projects that spoke to me, and freedom to design my life on my own terms.

I traded a 40-hour week for an 80-hour grind, building my client base from zero. I didn’t care — I was building something for me, and that made the long nights worth it. I took every job I could, hustled hard, and after a few years, finally had a steady flow of clients. It felt amazing. I was proud of what I’d built and could finally narrow my offerings to what I loved most: branding and pitch decks. I loved that focus — it meant I could pour into projects that aligned with me instead of constantly stretching into new territory. My portfolio showcased every design style imaginable, but I was ready for refinement.

Then 2025 hit — and everything changed.

After some really rough years, painting became my way to heal. Through that process, I discovered I could translate emotion itself — from pain to love and everything in between — into color and form. It wasn’t new; I’d been doing it my whole life — I’d just never had the words for it. That’s when I realized I was painting energy — emotion, frequency, and story — and bringing it to life visually.

Earlier this year, I went through a profound creative awakening that reshaped everything from the inside out. I’ve always been an artist before a designer — drawing and painting have long been my truest form of expression, letting my soul spill onto a canvas.

While I was creating that collection of paintings, something inside me was changing. My design business started to feel flat — like something essential was missing. I was still proud of what I’d built and deeply grateful for my clients — I didn’t want to lose any of that — but a new awareness was unfolding. I was craving more depth, intention, and soul in my creative process. My paintings carried so much raw emotion and meaning, and I wanted that same depth to shine through in my design work. After my awakening, I began to see and feel the world as energy — every person, color, and creation alive with its own frequency. And while my designs were still strong, there was a disconnect: a gap between how my clients thought about their brand and how I felt it.

That’s when I decided to rebuild everything — from the inside out.

Now, I approach design through the lens of energy. I’ve always created that way intuitively, but now I have language and structure to guide clients through it. Instead of diving straight into visuals, I start by uncovering the energetic signature of your brand — its soul, its frequency, its emotion.

Many of my clients are left-brained thinkers, which is why they hire me. They’ll say “just be creative,” which I appreciate — but creativity means something different to everyone. What’s creative to me might not be your vibe. So I built a process to bridge that gap — to help you access the energy behind your brand so your visuals actually feel like you.

Dunks Design now stands for alignment over grind — a reflection of the energetic shift that transformed everything for me. And now, I get to pay that forward to my clients who are building brands with soul and purpose.

I’m so excited for this new chapter and can’t wait to work with you on your brand’s energy. 💫

Thanks for spending a moment in my world,

Hill
